Leading Design Voices Gather in Dubai to Celebrate the Region’s 2026 identity id50 Honorees

Dubai celebration brings together leading regional design voices

Dewan Architects + Engineers joined the region’s design community in Dubai to celebrate the 2026 identity id50, where Concept Design Director Bruno Gomes was recognised among this year’s influential design leaders. Curated by identity Magazine and hosted at the IF HUB showroom, the event brought together leading architects, designers and creative voices from across the region to celebrate the individuals contributing to the evolution of architecture and design. Bruno’s inclusion in the 2026 id50 – Global Firms list recognises his contribution to the profession and a career spanning 23 years across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. With more than 18 years of experience in the region, his work encompasses projects across multiple sectors and scales, underpinned by a design philosophy centred on people, place and experience. Representing Dewan alongside Bruno at the celebration were Simran Shahid and Joud Tulimat from the firm’s Interior Design Department, joining peers from across the industry for an evening dedicated to recognising the region’s creative talent.

The celebration followed Bruno’s feature in identity Magazine’s July edition, which explored his international experience, multidisciplinary approach and belief in architecture’s ability to create meaningful connections between people and their surroundings. Bruno’s work at Dewan combines concept development, technical understanding and an awareness of cultural and environmental context. His portfolio includes projects ranging from cultural institutions and pavilions to large-scale urban developments, reflecting the breadth of experience that has shaped his approach to design. His recognition among the 2026 id50 adds to Dewan’s growing representation within the regional design community and reflects the calibre of creative leadership across the practice.
