Overview

ADEC Schools Phase 1 formed part of Abu Dhabi's programme to modernise public education through the delivery of contemporary learning environments across the emirate. Designed to support evolving educational models, the schools provide flexible academic facilities alongside sports, administrative and community spaces within a cohesive campus setting.

Project Vision

ADEC Schools – Phase 1 was envisioned as more than a luxury residential address. The project creates a holistic waterfront community where architecture, wellness and lifestyle are seamlessly integrated. Inspired by the natural beauty of Ras Al Khaimah, the design strengthens the connection between residents and their surroundings while delivering a distinctive sense of place.

Design Response

The schools are planned around clear circulation routes that simplify movement between teaching, recreational and administrative functions. Classrooms are complemented by specialist learning spaces, shared facilities and landscaped outdoor areas, creating campuses that support both structured teaching and everyday student interaction. The architecture balances functionality with durability, establishing learning environments designed to serve their communities over the long term.

Learning Environment

ADEC Schools – Phase 1 has been designed as a wellness-centred residential destination. Residents benefit from a carefully curated collection of indoor and outdoor amenities, including rooftop swimming pools, spas, fitness facilities, padel courts, children's play areas, landscaped lawns, co-working spaces, libraries, sky lounges and outdoor recreation spaces. Together, these facilities create an environment that promotes health, wellbeing and community interaction throughout the development.
