Architectural Firm of the Year Honour Recognises Dewan’s Growing Contribution to Saudi Arabia’s Built Environment

Landmark projects across Saudi Arabia earn major industry recognition

Dewan Architects + Engineers has been named Architectural Firm of the Year at the Commercial Interior Design Awards 2026: Saudi, recognising the practice’s growing portfolio and contribution to the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving built environment. Held at Voco Riyadh, the awards ceremony brought together designers, architects, fit-out specialists, consultants and industry partners from across Saudi Arabia to celebrate achievements in architecture and interior design. The award recognises Dewan’s work across the Kingdom, where the practice is contributing to a diverse range of major developments spanning leisure, hospitality, commercial, residential and large-scale destination projects. Among these is Aquarabia, the largest water theme park in the Middle East and a major component of Qiddiya City’s entertainment offering.

Dewan’s Saudi portfolio also includes Laheq Island in the Red Sea, a luxury island destination shaped around the relationship between architecture and its natural setting, as well as Prime Business Resort in Riyadh and several projects being delivered for Diriyah Company. Together, these projects reflect the breadth of Dewan’s work in Saudi Arabia and its involvement in developments supporting the Kingdom’s continued transformation. The practice combines international multidisciplinary expertise with an understanding of local context, culture and development ambitions, working across different scales and sectors as its presence in the market continues to grow.
