Dewan Named Asia's Best Firm in Architecture and Hospitality Design at AADA Awards 2026

Four AADA honours recognise Dewan’s design excellence across architecture, hospitality, residential and interior design

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Dewan Architects + Engineers has been named Asia's Best Firm in Architecture Design and Asia's Best Firm in Hospitality Architecture Design at the 2026 Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA). Recognising the practice's design excellence across the built environment. The practice also received project honours for TUI Blue Han River and Layan Verde, bringing its total awards to four. Alongside the two firm-level awards, TUI Blue Han River was recognised as Asia's Best Hospitality Interior Design, while Layan Verde received Asia's Best Residential Architecture Design, reflecting the breadth of Dewan's expertise across architecture and interior design.

The Asia Architecture Design Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across architecture, interior design and product design, recognising practices and projects that are shaping the future of Asia's built environment. This year's programme, themed "Influential Asia".Celebrates architects and designers whose work is contributing to the region's growing influence on the global stage. The awards were presented during the 2026 Asia Architecture Design Awards Winner's Night, held within Vietnam's iconic Dragon Pearl Cave, where they were accepted on behalf of Dewan by Mohammed Adib, Chief Design Officer. The recognition comes as Dewan Architects + Engineers continues to expand its portfolio across Southeast Asia through its established office in Ho Chi Minh City. Combining the capabilities of a global multidisciplinary practice with a local team that understands Vietnam's culture, regulations and development landscape, Dewan delivers architecture and design solutions that respond to local context while meeting international standards.

TUI Blue Han River, recognised as Asia's Best Hospitality Interior Design, reflects Dewan's integrated approach to hospitality design. The practice led the interior and landscape design, creating a cohesive hospitality experience inspired by a "Royal Voyage." The interiors celebrate Da Nang's cultural heritage through a contemporary interpretation of local materials, craftsmanship and royal refinement. Layan Verde, recognised as Asia's Best Residential Architecture Design, reflects Dewan's approach to environmentally responsive design. Serving as the design architect, the practice created a mixed-use hospitality and residential development that responds to Phuket's dramatic western coastline while embracing the site's natural topography. The first phase is currently under construction.

The awards build on Dewan's growing portfolio across Southeast Asia. In Vietnam, the practice delivered SolForest Ecopark in Hanoi, a contemporary vertical garden community defined by organic forms, irregular balcony compositions and extensive planted terraces that bring nature into high-rise living. Beyond Vietnam, Dewan served as the design architect for Layan Verde in Phuket, Thailand, a mixed-use hospitality and residential development nestled within the island's sloping western coastline. The first phase is currently under construction.
